Our Story and Mission

Carlington Booch is a social enterprise that brews small-batch kombucha to help fight addiction in Ottawa.

As a recovered addict himself, Co-founder Jon Ruby created Carlington Booch with the desire to make a difference in the lives of others. Fueled by passion, his vision goes far beyond kombucha – it’s a means to empower individuals on their journey to recovery.

Our Purpose

Our purpose is to booch the gap to a better lifestyle by changing the way people live to create healthier people and healthier communities. We provide employment and volunteer opportunities for people coming out of addiction treatment centers and help them “booch” the gap as they become contributing members of society.

Our Goal

Our goal is to revitalize our community while fighting alongside the underdog. We want to give every customer that good gut feeling you get from helping others. The probiotics, vitamins, and antioxidants in our traditionally-brewed booch will keep your actual gut feeling pretty good, too.

Watch Our Story

At Carlington Booch, we’re not just passionate about crafting delicious kombucha, we’re dedicated to making a positive impact on people’s lives.

We offer volunteer and employment opportunities to those that have been affected by addiction. Email to join our team at carlingtonbooch@gmail.com

We also, through the generosity of our sponsors, donate monthly booch to the charitable sector. In other words we are able to get this health product into the thousands of guts that otherwise might not be able to afford it.

ALL proceeds from our kombucha go directly to support our addiction recovery initiatives, making every sip a refreshing choice toward a healthier you and stronger community. We do this under the social brand Ashes To Rubies.
